Nicole Kidman and Bette Midler in The Stepford Wives
I had a feeling going into this one that it would be a little on the light side. In that regard, I wasn't disappointed. The story was interesting enough. I found some of the scenes to be better than the movie as a whole.
One of my favorites was the ladies book club. If you've ever felt out of place in a "club," then you'll appreciate the satire of the ladies book club.
I thought everyone did a great job with the acting. It was initially horrendous to think that I was going to have to watch a Christopher Walken movie, but he grew on me. It was nice to see Glenn Close chewing up the scenery again. The same for Bette Midler. This is her best part in years. And I mean years.
